16 days old and Brigham continues to do very well!! He is up to 4lbs 5.5oz today! His little cheeks keep getting chubbier. Last night he took 2 full feedings orally (37ml each) and today they bumped him up to 40ml per feeding. He is slightly anemic which is not uncommon in preemies so they are giving him some iron supplements. The most exciting news is that he is now out of the isolette! YEA!!!!! He has been keeping his temp well so he is now in an open crib. More steps closer to going home.
We had lots of visitors this weekend. Grammy & Grampy Hanson arrived Thursday night and were here until late morning on Saturday. Friends from work stopped on Sat. afternoon. My best friend from Oakley was here Saturday afternoon, spent the night and headed back on Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon Aunt Ronda, Cousin Nick and a friend of Ronda's visited. Today Grandma & Grandpa Winchell came for a visit.
Yesterday we were reminded how truely blessed we are. When we arrived at the hospital, they were preparing a very tiny baby (about half Brig's size) for air transport to Denver. Praise God for watching over all of us!!!
