Brigham was up another oz. He is now 3 lbs 14.1oz. He is still taking 35 ml at each feeding and they are fortifying his milk to 24 cal/ml.
I got to spend LOTS of time holding him today!!! He was either in my arms or Ross' arms from 12:30 till his bath at about 5:00pm. (Check out the slideshow) He enjoyed the bath and Ross and I were thankful to have some instruction and support for his first bath. He is so tiny it would have been very intimidating to try that on our own the first time!
We learned today that Brigham likes music. I loaded some lulliby CDs on my MP3 player and played them through speakers while we were snuggling. His breathing really smoothed out when the music was playing. Also, while Ross was holding him during his 3pm feeding, Brigham got fussy. As soon as we turned the music on, he settled down! Shouldn't be surprising since he has musical genes coming from both of our families.
When Ross & I got home last night, we had a HUGE surprise in the mailbox. Brigham sent us a letter. I've typed a copy on the right side of the blog so everyone can see what touched our hearts and brought tears to our eyes! We want to give a huge THANKS to his "Connections" for their help.

Kristen, your mom sent me this blog. Love all the pictures and seeing how Brigham is progressing. Looks like he's getting plenty of attention. I bet your mom and dad haven't touched the ground since he was born. Wishing you all the best.
