Brig is 2

Time flies when your having fun! Brig celebrated his 2nd birthday in Feb. He had multiple "parties". One with Ross family, one with Uncle Aaron and Aunt Katie and one with Grammy and Grampy. Brig loved having "happy cake" for several days!!! If asked, he will tell you he's 2 but he can't get his fingers to cooperate.

Dec 09
We are all in the holiday spirit in the Hofmann home. Brig LOVES the tree. He wants it on from the minute he gets up till the minute he goes to bed. He points out all the Mickeys and his Pooh and Tigger ornament.
Brig and I go to music class on Wed. and this past weekend they had a family class/program. It was fun! Grammy and Grampy enjoyed seeing Brig with his new friends.
Last Sat. night we went to the Denver Zoo to see the Zoo lights. It is sooo beautiful! Brig enjoyed it but seemed a little overwhelmed at times.

Pennsylvania Trip
We are spending Thanksgiving week with Ross' dad and step-mom in Hazelton Pennsylvania. They have a beautiful home! Brig loved the Hot tub on the back deck the first night.
On Tuesday we drove to Lancaster county. What beautiful scenery. We spent Tuesday night in a motel in Intercourse, PA. The motel had a complimentary tour of Amish country the next morning. Our first stop on the tour was a beautiful quilt shop. The lady had so many pretty things!!! The shop was lit with a gas lantern although she must have had some electricity to run her cash register ;-) We bought a quillow from her (quilt inside a pillow) Beautiful work! We saw lots of horse drawn buggies... some kids playing outside the 1 room school house (they still only go to school to the 8th grade. Wonder what the feds think of that)... saw some men hand digging a grave in the cemetary... lots of clothes haning on the line even though it was raining - I don't get that.
Today we will be hanging out at home. Brig is very comfortable here and has just been such a good boy. I'm sure he will be happy to stay home and out of his car seat!!!
Tomorrow morining Ross and I are going into NYC with Ron. Brig is staying home with Grandma Connie. I can't wait to see the sites in the city! We are planning to see Rockafeller Center, the windows at Macy's and ground zero.
Sat. we have plans with the neighbors and Sunday we will go back into Philadelphia. We want to see more of the historical sites (we saw Christ Church when we got into town. This is the church many of our founding fathers attended. We sat in the pew of Ben Franklin).
Can't believe the trip is half over!
Hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
